Shiftwork definition
Shiftwork means work performed to a weekly pattern of shifts rostered according to work requirements with commencing and finishing times as decided by the Employer.

Examples of Shiftwork in a sentence
All shifts starting or finishing more than 2 hours outside of the ordinary hours of work will be classified as Shiftwork and be paid at double time for the entire shift.

More Definitions of Shiftwork
Shiftwork means either 8 hours rotating duty shifts or a single 12 hour duty shift on any or consecutive days. “STCW 95”means the International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers 1978 as amended in 1995.
