Single Private definition

Single Private. Room means an air conditioned room in a Hospital where a single patient is accommodated and which has an attached toilet (lavatory and bath). Such room type shall be the most basic and the most economical of all accommodations available as a Single room in that Hospital.

  • If the Policy Certificate states ‘Single Private Room’ as eligible Room Category, it means the maximum eligible Room Category in case of Hospitalization of the Insured Person payable by the Company is limited to stay in a Single Private Room.

  • If the Policy Certificate states ‘Single Private Room (upgradable to next level)’ as eligible Room Category, it means the maximum eligible Room Category in case of Hospitalization of the Insured Person payable by the Company is limited to stay in a Single Private Room or a Single Private Room of the immediate next category.

  • We will provide for an option to remove the Room Rent limit applicable on the Inpatient Hospitalisation and allow for coverage up to a Single Private Room.

  • By selecting this option, entitlement for the maximum room rent eligibility will be Single Private Room) 3.

  • Resident must get approval from housing office if he/she needs to stay additional days.)
