Single Stream Recyclables definition

Single Stream Recyclables means the commingling of any Paper Fiber Recyclables with any Commingled Container Recyclables.

Single Stream Recyclables means Acceptable Recyclable Materials collected in a system in which all recyclables are placed in a single cart or bin and are mixed in the collection truck, instead of being separated by the residents or at the truck

Single Stream Recyclables means Recyclable Materials listed in Section 3.1 that may be combined/comingled for recycling. Single stream recycled materials are compacted at the Transfer Station, then transported to a sorting facility in Shelton, CT operated by Oak Ridge Waste & Recycling.

Examples of Single Stream Recyclables in a sentence

• Acceptable Recyclables shall include, but is not limited to, Commingled Container Recyclables, Paper Fiber Recyclables, Single Stream Recyclables and any other Solid waste deemed by MIRA in its sole discretion to be Acceptable Recyclables.

• IPF designated Single Stream Recyclables shall be accepted at the Transfer Station and the Intermediate Processing Facility in the Secure Sanitary Landfill Complex.

• Eliminated from the Recycling Services category this year are the Single Stream Recyclables monies credited to the jurisdictions (calculated at $40 per SSR ton) as well as costs paid to ZeroWaste Energy for operation of the Anaerobic Digester.

• Loads of Single Stream Recyclables from which the higher value recyclables have been skimmed and marketed independently shall be subject to a surcharge.

• At no time will the City incur any financial liability for processing the City Single Stream Recyclables.

Single Stream Recyclables means a wastestream consisting of, but not limited to, recyclables including both Commingled Fiber and Commingled Bottles and Cans.
