The purpose of this Constitution is to implement and give effect to the provisions of the South African Maritime and Aeronautical Search and Rescue Act, 2002.
In this Constitution, unless the context indicates otherwise - “Act” means the South African Maritime and Aeronautical Search and Rescue Act, 2002; “Aeronautical Sub-Committee” means the Aeronautical Sub-Committee of SASAR established in terms of sub-Section 5(2) of the Act and referred to in Article 12 of this Constitution.
