Span of Ordinary Hours definition

Span of Ordinary Hours means 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
Span of Ordinary Hours means the part of the day during which the hours worked will be paid for at ordinary hourly rates unless overtime is payable pursuant to clause 11.1(b) (where more than 10.6 hours are worked in one day) or clause 11.1(c) (where more than 76 hours are worked in a fortnight).
Span of Ordinary Hours means the period between 6:00am until 7:00pm Monday to Friday, or Monday to Sunday for shift workers, in which ordinary hours can be worked.

Examples of Span of Ordinary Hours in a sentence

  • Span of Ordinary Hours At least half an hour meal break is to be taken where the major portion of ordinary hours are worked between the hours of 16:00 and 23:00 (or 23:00 to 07:00) which can be taken as a crib break and counted as work time in those cases where the employee remains on duty on site during the meal break period or attends official meetings during such period.

  • Span of Ordinary Hours – Day Workers Ordinary hours of work for Day Workers may be worked at any time between the hours of 6:00am – 6:00pm.

  • Team Members may be rostered to work within the Span of Ordinary Hours or otherwise by agreement.

  • Work outside the Span of Ordinary Hours, will receive the applicable penalties set out in subclause 4.1(a) and is not overtime.

  • Shiftwork does not include a shift which starts and finishes on the same day within the Span of Ordinary Hours.

  • Such variations to the Span of Ordinary Hours may be arranged by agreement with the majority of Employees bound by this Agreement or with individual Employees, subject to 19.1 (c) below.

  • Span of Ordinary Hours Ordinary hours of work for Day Workers may be worked at any time between the hours of 6:00am – 6:00pm.
