Specialty Pharmacy Business definition

Specialty Pharmacy Business means the specialty pharmacy business and related services owned or operated by Eckerd (not including the repackaging business).
Specialty Pharmacy Business means the business of dispensing Specialty Drugs to patients (including, without limitation, at open-door locations, through mail or other delivery).

  • Chain pharmacy warehouse means a physical location for prescription drugs that acts as a central warehouse and performs intracompany sales or transfers of the prescription drugs to a group of chain pharmacies that have the same common ownership and control.

  • SPECIALTY HOSPITAL means a hospital or the specialty unit of a general hospital that is licensed by the state. It must be designed to care for patients with injuries or special illnesses.   • Homemaker services means the professionally directed or supervised simple household maintenance or management services provided by trained homemakers or individuals to families in their own homes.

  • Specialty contractor means a person who is licensed to conduct business as described in subsection 4 of NRS 624.215.

  • Retail pharmacy means a pharmaceutical facility dispensing prescription drugs and devices to the general public.

  • Major medical equipment means medical equipment which is used for the provision of medical and other health services and which costs in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, except that such term does not include medical equipment acquired by or on behalf of a clinical laboratory to provide clinical laboratory services if the clinical laboratory is independent of a physician's office and a hospital and it has been determined under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to meet the requirements of paragraphs (10) and (11) of Section 1861(s) of such Act. In determining whether medical equipment has a value in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, the value of studies, surveys, designs, plans, working drawings, specifications, and other activities essential to the acquisition of such equipment shall be included.

  • Outpatient hospital services means preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, observation, rehabilitation, or palliative services provided to an outpatient by or under the direction of a physician, dentist, or other practitioner by an institution that:
