Starting Date means the date referred to in Clause 3.3 hereof;
motor cycle means any two-wheeled vehicle, with or without side-car, which is equipped with a propelling engine. Contracting Parties may also treat as motor cycles in their domestic legislation three-wheeled vehicles whose unladen mass does not exceed 400 kg. The term "motor cycle" does not include mopeds, although Contracting Parties may treat mopeds as motor cycles for the purpose of the Convention.

Unless the context indicates otherwise, the “2001 CSO mortality table” includes both the ultimate form of that table and the select and ultimate form of that table and includes both the smoker and nonsmoker mortality tables and the composite mor- tality tables. It also includes both the age−nearest−birthday and age−last−birthday bases of the mortality tables.
