State educational agency means any state or local educational licensing body that provides a license, permit, authorization or other approval necessary for an educational institution or other entity to operate or to provide educational programs or courses in that state.
Local educational agency except as otherwise provided, means
State educational institution means an institution enumerated in Article 12, Section 11 of the constitution of New Mexico;
State education agency means the department.
Corporations Regulations means the Corporations Regulations 2001 (Cth).
United States central authority means the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
District and high school graduation report means a report of the number of pupils, excluding adult education participants, in the district for the immediately preceding school year, adjusted for those pupils who have transferred into or out of the district or high school, who leave high school with a diploma or other credential of equal status.
State archives means the Division of Archives and Records Service created in Section 63A-12-101.
international application means an application filed under this Treaty;
South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
State Licensing Authority means the authority created for the purpose of regulating and controlling the licensing of the cultivation, manufacture, distribution, and sale of Medical Marijuana and Retail Marijuana in Colorado, pursuant to section 12-43.3-201, C.R.S.
Local education agency means: a public authority legally constituted by the state as an administrative agency to provide control of and direction for Kindergarten through Twelfth (12th) grade public educational institutions.
National Road Traffic Act means the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996);
Cooperating country national (“CCN”) means an individual who is a cooperating country citizen or a non-cooperating country citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the cooperating country.
General education means the compulsory school attendance phase as referred to in section 3 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996); and
Postsecondary educational institution means a degree- or certificate-granting public or private college or university, junior college, or community college that is located in this state. The term includes the governing body of the postsecondary educational institution.
Vocational education means organized educational programs that are directly related to the preparation of individuals for paid or unpaid employment, or for additional preparation for a career not requiring a baccalaureate or advanced degree.
South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
Geneva Convention means the Convention of 28 July 1951 relating to the status of refugees, as amended by the New York Protocol of 31 January 1967;
Local education provider means a school district
Adult education means all education or instruction,
State purchased health care or "health care" means medical
Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.
Federal Aviation Administration and "FAA" mean the United States Federal Aviation Administration and any agency or instrumentality of the United States government succeeding to their functions.
Direct medical education costs means costs directly associated with the medical education of interns and residents or other medical education programs, such as a nursing education program or allied health programs, conducted in an outpatient setting, that qualify for payment as medical education costs under the Medicare program. The amount of direct medical education costs is determined from the hospital base-year cost reports and is inflated in determining the direct medical education rate.
previous planning legislation means any planning legislation that is repealed by the Act or the provincial legislation;
