State Security Agency definition

State Security Agency means the State Security Agency referred to in section 3 of the Intelligence Services Act, 2002 (Act 65 of 2002);

Examples of State Security Agency in a sentence

  • Employees and subcontractors of the successful bidder may be required to be in possession of valid security clearances to the level determined by the State Security Agency (SSA) and/or NHLS commensurate with the nature of the project activities they are involved in.

  • Where required, the Service Provider may be required to notify the South African Police Service; and/or the State Security Agency and where applicable, the relevant regulator and/or the affected persons of the security breach.

  • Where required, the Respondent may be required to notify the South African Police Service; and/or the State Security Agency and where applicable, the relevant regulator and/or the affected persons of the security breach.

  • The appointments are subject to positive outcomes obtained from the State Security Agency (SSA) to the following checks (security clearance (vetting), criminal clearance, credit records, and citizenship), verification of Educational Qualifications by SAQA, verification of previous experience from Employers and verification from the Company Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

  • Where required, the Parties must notify the South African Police Service; and/or the State Security Agency and the Information Regulator and the affected persons of the security breach.

  • Where required, the Supplier may be required to notify the South African Police Service; and/or the State Security Agency and where applicable, the relevant regulator and/or the affected persons of the security breach.

  • The appointments are subject to positive outcomes obtained from the State Security Agency (SSA) to the following checks (security clearance (vetting), criminal clearance, credit records, citizenship), verification of Educational Qualifications by SAQA, verification of previous experience from Employers and verification from the Company Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

  • The preferred service provider may be required to go through the vetting process by State Security Agency.

  • The appointment of the successful bidder is subject to positive security screening and vetting results by the State Security Agency.

  • The successful bidder(s) will be subjected to a security screening /or vetting process by the State Security Agency at any stage during the contract.

Related to State Security Agency

  • State education agency means the department.

  • State educational agency means any state educational licensing authority, agency, department, board or commission that provides an approval, certification, exemption or other authorization necessary for a postsecondary institution (whether its main campus, branch campus, additional location, satellite or other facility thereof) to provide postsecondary education in that state including any distance education.

  • State educational institution means an institution enumerated in Article 12, Section 11 of the constitution of New Mexico;

  • State agency means any of the principal departments in the Executive Branch of the State Government, and any division, board, bureau, office, commission or other instrumentality within or created by such department, the Legislature of the State and any office, board, bureau or commission within or created by the Legislative Branch, and any independent State authority, commission, instrumentality or agency.

  • Federal agency means any department, agency, or other instrumentality of the Federal Government, any independent agency or establishment of the Federal Government including any Government corporation, and the Government Printing Office.

  • Nodal Agency means the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, (MPUVNL) Bhopal;

  • the Agency means the Environment Agency;

  • Lead Agency means the agency facilitating the procurement and establishing the Contract.

  • Federal banking agency means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, the National Credit Union Administration and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation;

  • Federal banking agencies means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, the National Credit Union Administration, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

  • Local law enforcement agency means the police of a city, town, village or other incorporated area or the sheriff of an unincorporated area or any sworn officer of the Illinois Department of State Police.

  • Enforcement agency means any agency granted authority to enforce the Federal labor laws. It includes the enforcement components of DOL (Wage and Hour Division, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. It also means a State agency designated to administer an OSHA-approved State Plan, but only to the extent that the State agency is acting in its capacity as administrator of such plan. It does not include other Federal agencies which, in their capacity as contracting agencies, conduct investigations of potential labor law violations. The enforcement agencies associated with each labor law under E.O. 13673 are–

  • Local education agency means: a public authority legally constituted by the state as an administrative agency to provide control of and direction for Kindergarten through Twelfth (12th) grade public educational institutions.
