Statewide protocol definition

Statewide protocol means a standardized procedure or protocol approved by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy and the Arkansas State Medical Board authorizing a pharmacist to initiate therapy and administer or dispense, or both, a drug or device.
Statewide protocol means a framework developed and issued by the board that specifies the conditions under which pharmacists are authorized to order and administer a medication or category of medications when providing a clinical service.
