Student Casual definition

Student Casual means casual positions that are agreed to by the Parties, and that have distinct provisions for the terms and conditions of employment. The Parties agree to review all Student Casual positions on an annual basis for compliance with the provisions of Article 15.3.2 and 15.4.2.

Examples of Student Casual in a sentence

  • In the event that the position is not awarded to a Full-Time or Part-Time employee, then applications submitted by Student Casual employees will be given consideration.

  • Student Casual positions also provide opportunities to develop a sense of community and involvement with MacEwan University.

  • In the event that the position is not awarded to a member of the Bargaining Unit then applications submitted by members of the Student Casual Bargaining Unit will be given consideration.

  • Student Casual employees will not be eligible to bid upon regular, full and part-time shifts.

  • No continuing full-time employee will be laid off where a Term, Short-term, Student, Casual employee, Contracted-In individual or Attached Staff with equivalent or similar skills, remains employed by the Company.

  • Student Casual positions provide students with opportunities to develop fundamental career skills such as communication, time management, and customer service.

  • No continuing full-time employee will be laid off where a Term, Short-term, Student, Casual employee, Contracted-In individual or Attached Staff, with equivalent or similar skills, remains employed by the Company.

  • This Committee is the same Committee as for the Full-Time and Part-Time Bargaining Unit, but may include Student Casual employees and shall give due consideration to the issues of the Student Casual Bargaining Unit.

  • The University and MSA retain the right to confirm student enrolment status at the time of hiring, following any academic course drop date, and periodically throughout employment in a Student Casual Position.

Related to Student Casual

  • Student Growth means the change in Student Achievement data for an individual student between two points in time. Growth may also include other measures that are rigorous and comparable across classrooms.

  • Student media means any means of communication that are:

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Student Employee means an individual who is both a student and an employee of the college. When a complainant or respondent is a student employee, the college must make a fact-specific inquiry to de- termine whether the individual's primary relationship with the college is to receive an education and whether any alleged student conduct code violation including, but not limited to, sex-based harassment, occurred while the individual was performing employment-related work.

  • School-Sponsored Activity means any activity conducted on or off school property (including school buses and other school-related vehicles) that is sponsored, recognized or authorized by the Board of Education.
