Student Education Record definition

Student Education Record means personally identifiable information of Subscriber’s students as defined by FERPA and any applicable state law.
Student Education Record means identifiable information, including but not limited to PII, of Subscriber’s students that may be considered part of an educational record as defined by FERPA, district policy, and any applicable state law.
Student Education Record means personally identifiable assessment results of Subscriber’s students that are protected by FERPA and any applicable state law.

Examples of Student Education Record in a sentence

  • If permitted under the valid court order or subpoena, NWEA shall notify Subscriber of such court order or subpoena prior to disclosing or producing any Student Education Record pursuant to the court order or subpoena to enable Subscriber to seek a protective order.

  • NWEA will not sell any student’s personally identifiable information or use personally identifiable information in any Student Education Record to engage in targeted advertising.

  • If NWEA receives a request from a parent/guardian or eligible student challenging the content of a Student Education Record maintained by NWEA, NWEA shall contact Subscriber to validate the identity of the parent or guardian and student and request instructions regarding corrective action to be taken, if any.

  • Once validated, NWEA shall correct the erroneous Student Education Record as directed by Subscriber in writing.

  • NWEA will not use or disclose any information in any Student Education Record or amass a profile about a student for any purpose other than those required under the law or specifically permitted or required by this Agreement.

  • Subscriber is responsible for anynotices to parents required under FERPA and for providing parents/guardians and eligible students with an opportunity to inspect and challenge the contents of a Student Education Record.

  • Except as expressly permitted under the terms of this Agreement, NWEA will not disclose or distribute any Student Education Record in or through the GRD to any user, subscriber, person or entity other than the Subscriber.


More Definitions of Student Education Record

Student Education Record means any item of information directly related to an identifiable student, other than directory information, which is maintained by the District or required to be maintained by any employee in the performance of his or her duties, whether recorded by handwriting, print, tapes, film, microfilm, or other means.

Related to Student Education Record

  • Education Record means those records that contain information directly related to a student and which are maintained by an education agency or institution or by a party acting for the agency or institution.

  • Education records means an education record as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and its implementing regulations, 20 USC Section 1232g and 34 CFR Part 99, respectively.

  • Physical education means the development of:

  • Individualized education program or “IEP” means a written statement for a child with a disability as defined in 14 DE Admin. Code 922.

  • Individualized Education Program (IEP means a written statement for a child with a disability that is developed, reviewed, and revised in accordance with Sections 300.320 through 300.324 of 34 CFR.

  • Continuing education means planned, organized learning acts designed to maintain, improve, or expand a licensee’s knowledge and skills in order for the licensee to develop new knowledge and skills relevant to the enhancement of practice, education, or theory development to improve the safety and welfare of the public.

  • Vocational education means organized educational programs that are directly related to the preparation of individuals for paid or unpaid employment or for additional preparation for a career requiring other than a baccalaureate or advanced degree.

  • Local education provider means a school district

  • General education means the compulsory school attendance phase as referred to in section 3 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996); and

  • Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.

  • Continuing education unit (CEU) means a unit of measure of educational credit which is equivalent to ten (10) hours.

  • State institution of higher education means the state universities listed in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code, community colleges created pursuant to Chapter 3354. of the Revised Code, university branches created pursuant to Chapter 3355. of the Revised Code, technical colleges created pursuant to Chapter 3357. of the Revised Code, and state community colleges created pursuant to Chapter 3358. of the Revised Code.

  • Special education means specially designed instruction, at no cost to the parents, to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability, including--

  • Adult basic education means education or instruction

  • Institution of higher education means an institution of higher education listed in Section 53B-2-101.

  • Distance education means education imparted by combination of any two or more means of communication, viz. broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence courses, seminars, contact programmes and any other such methodology;
