Subinvestigator definition

Subinvestigator is defined in 21 CFR § 312.3(b) and, in the event the Study is conducted by a team at a Participating Site, means an individual designated by the Investigator to be the responsible leader of such team.
Subinvestigator includes any other individual member of that team. For clarity, the Investigator, Subinvestigators, and all other members of the NIAID Clinical Trial team will be compensated solely by NIAID for work done on the Clinical Trial and will not be directly compensated by Company and/or CRO for such work.

Examples of Subinvestigator in a sentence

  • Each Subinvestigator shall be instructed to follow the direction of Investigator and otherwise adhere strictly to the Protocol.

  • Each Study Team Member shall be instructed to strictly follow the direction of Investigator or Subinvestigator, as applicable, to adhere strictly to the Protocol.

  • Principal Investigator will supervise the conduct of the Clinical Trial, and may appoint such other qualified employees of Institution as subinvestigators (“Subinvestigators”), in accordance with Applicable Law and the Protocol, to assist in the conduct of a Clinical Trial and Institution shall ensure that Principal Investigator shall be responsible for leading and supervising any such Subinvestigator or team of Subinvestigators.

  • Further, Investigator shall be responsible for ensuring that the Subinvestigator and all staff and personnel within the Institution who participate in the Study Activity have read and understood the Protocol.

  • CRO will make no payment for subjects who have Protocol violations, caused by the PI, Subinvestigator or Institution.

  • Investigator and each Subinvestigator, as applicable, shall be employees of Institution.

  • At MedImmune’s request, Institution shall cause each and every Subinvestigator for the Study to promptly execute and deliver to MedImmune or its designated representatives a financial disclosure statement in the form and having the content required by MedImmune.

  • Institution shall require any Investigator, Subinvestigator or Study Team Member to waive any negative publication right in relation to Sponsor as far as it is not obliged so by law or contractual obligations.

  • Institution and Investigator agree that, if at any time from the beginning of the Study (Study Initiation Visit), until one (1) year from the end of the Study (Study Close-out Visit), Institution and/or Investigator should become aware of any changes in the financial disclosure any Subinvestigator participating in the Study, Institution and/or Investigator will immediately notify MedImmune and cooperate with MedImmune in providing a revised financial disclosure statement reflecting all required changes.

  • No Sub-investigator may work on the study unless he or she is qualified through experience and training to conduct clinical trials and agrees to be involved through completion of the Study.
