Supervising Entities definition

Supervising Entities means IFAD, FAO, WFP, the World Bank and other MDBs;
Supervising Entities means any of the governmental and non-governmental entities which propose to supervise, or are supervising, the carrying out of Subprojects; "Supervising Entity" means any one of such Supervising Entities;

Examples of Supervising Entities in a sentence

  • Procurement of goods and services for activities financed by the Trust Fund funds transferred to the Supervising Entities shall be made in accordance with the policies and procedures of the respective Supervising Entity as set out in paragraph 7.2 above.

  • In cases where there will be multiple program implementation grants due to the existence of multiple education plans at the sub-national level, Supervising Entities or Managing Entities appointed at these levels may each apply for a GPE program development grant of US$200,000 to 400,000.

  • Procurement of goods and services for activities financed by the Trust Fund funds transferred to the Supervising Entities and Implementers will be made in accordance with the policies and procedures of the respective Supervising Entity or Implementer as set out in paragraph 8.2 above.

  • The Trustee will, subject to paragraph 5.1 above, commit the amount of the Trust Fund funds allocated by the Board and transfer such amounts to the Supervising Entities and Implementers, including the IBRD in its role as a Supervising Entity or Implementer or Secretariat, in accordance with the Transfer Agreement or Transfer Memorandum, as appropriate.

  • The Supervising Entities will include provisions corresponding to the above in any Grant Agreement that the Supervising Entity enters into with Developing Country Partner.

  • The Trustee will require, and accept from, the Supervising Entities and Implementers that have received Trust Fund funds from the Trustee, periodic financial reports, including annual financial statements, audited or unaudited as agreed with Supervising Entities and Implementers and the Board.

  • Costs are determined based on the time required to finalize and/or amend Contribution Agreements with Contributors and Transfer Agreements between Supervising Entities and the Trustee.

  • Supervising Entities may be appointed for country-level activities and for global and regional activities described in Section 1.

  • Costs are based on staff time and expenses required for the management and execution of financial transactions, including maintaining receipts of donor contributions, recording allocations and commitments, and processing cash transfers to Supervising Entities.

  • As of December 31, 2012, the Trustee had transferred funds to the Supervising Entities for 13 effective projects7 amounting to USD 153.9 million for those projects that have completed preparation.

  • Clinical supervision means direction or oversight provided either face to face or by videoconference or telephone by an individual qualified to evaluate, guide, and direct all behavioral health services provided by a licensee to assist the licensee to develop and improve the necessary knowledge, skills, techniques, and abilities to allow the licensee to engage in the practice of behavioral health ethically, safely, and competently.

  • Managing entity means the managing agent or, if there is no managing agent, the time-share

  • Supervising Officer means the supervising officer of the Ministry;

  • Group supervision means the process of clinical supervision of no more than six persons in a group setting provided by a qualified supervisor.

  • Direct visual supervision means the supervisory dentist

  • Participating Entities and “Participating Entity” are defined on the Coversheet.

  • Office of the Interconnection Control Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by the Office of the Interconnection to coordinate and direct the operation of the PJM Region and to administer the PJM Interchange Energy Market, including facilities and equipment used to communicate and coordinate with the Market Participants in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region. On-Site Generators:

  • Operating Entity means an entity that operates and controls a portion of the bulk transmission system with the goal of ensuring reliable energy interchange between generators, loads, and other operating entities.

  • Regional Manager means regional executive director of the Ministry or except for Section 2.1.1(1)(a), regional executive director’s designate;

  • PJM Entities means PJM, including the Market Monitoring Unit, the PJM Board, and PJM’s officers, employees, representatives, advisors, contractors, and consultants. PJM Interchange:

  • Implementing Entity means the [Implementing Entity] that is the party to this Agreement and the recipient of the Grant;

  • Reporting Entity means the Constituent Entity that, by virtue of domestic law in its jurisdiction of tax residence, files the CbC Report in its capacity to do so on behalf of the MNE Group;

  • Project Implementing Entity’s Legislation means the Charter of the Municipal Development Fund established pursuant to Decree No. 118 of the Government of Georgia dated July 23, 2005, as amended to date.

  • Project Implementing Entity means a legal entity (other than the Recipient or the Guarantor): (a) that is responsible for implementing all or a part of the Project; and (b) which is a party to the Project Agreement. If the Bank enters into a Project Agreement with more than one such entity, “Project Implementing Entity” refers separately to each such entity.

  • General supervision means that general instructions are given and tasks are undertaken to achieve the required outcomes or objectives. Discretion and choice in selecting the most appropriate method for completing the allotted tasks is expected and encouraged.

  • Sponsoring entity means a nonprofit corporation, nonprofit cooperative, state governmental entity, local unit of government as defined in ORS 466.706, housing authority or any other person, provided that the person has agreed to restrictive covenants imposed by a nonprofit corporation, nonprofit cooperative, state governmental entity, local unit of government or housing authority.

  • Direct supervision means oversight at a distance within which:

  • Supplier’s Manager means a manager who at the relevant time carries such designation from the Supplier under, or in accordance with, ARTICLE 5;

  • Holding Entities means the subsidiaries of the Infrastructure Partnership, from time to time, through which it indirectly holds all of the Partnership’s interests in the operating entities.
