Syncrude Project definition

Syncrude Project means the joint venture that was formed for the recovery of oil sands, crude bitumen or products derived from the Athabasca oil sands, located near Fort McMurray, Alberta;
Syncrude Project means (a) the scheme for recovery of oil sands, crude bitumen or products derived therefrom originally approved in Approval No. 1920 and currently approved in Approval Nos. 8573 and 10781, all as issued by the ERCB or the AEUB or their predecessors, as such scheme may be amended or superseded from time to time, (b) all property now owned or hereafter acquired or developed by the owners participating from time to time in such scheme or by SCL on their behalf in connection with such scheme,
