Target Investment definition

Target Investment means an investment which, if made by the Partnership, would be made in a start-up or early-stage company located in Illinois, would require an initial investment of $2,000,000 or less, would not violate the Diversification Limit, would not cause the assets of the Partnership to be treated as "plan assets" under ERISA, would not require a capital investment in excess of the remaining Capital Commitments of the Partners and would be in the best interests of the Partnership as determined by the General Partner in its reasonable discretion.
Target Investment. LETTERS shall have the meaning given to it in Section 7.2(g). TARGET OPTIONS shall have the meaning given to it in Section 6.9.
Target Investment has the meaning given to such term in the Sub-Advisory Agreement.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, this Section 10(b) shall not be interpreted or construed as applying to the sale or disposition of any Primary Target Investment by the Company to any third party.

More Definitions of Target Investment

Target Investment means an investment by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries in an income-producing loan secured by a first mortgage on one or more properties (including, with respect to any such property, fee simple or other title, leasehold, or other ownership interest in property) (i) located in the United States, (ii) belonging to a commonly accepted asset class, including multifamily, industrial, retail, hotel and office and (iii) otherwise satisfying the Guidelines, all in accordance with this Agreement; provided, that (a) notwithstanding clause (i), up to 25% of the book value of the Company may be represented by one or more loans secured by fee simple or other title, leasehold, or ownership interests in one or more properties located outside of the United States of America, (b) such investment may be made through co-lending, participation, syndication, or other financing structures whereby the Company or its Subsidiaries originates such first mortgage financing and thereafter enters into co-lending, participation, syndication or other structures and (c) such investment may include the origination of a tranche of mezzanine financing provided that such mezzanine tranche is originated concurrently with the origination of such first mortgage financing.
Target Investment means any loan or other investment (i.e., a commercial real estate financial asset other than a loan), the opportunity for which develops on or after the date hereof, with respect to which the Company has purchased or has made or intends to make a commitment or offer to purchase and for which the Company has determined to obtain co-investors to originate and fund or acquire all or any portion of the loan or other investment.
Target Investment means an investment of Company funds in the form of a loan to be utilized for the Target Project.

Target Investment shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.1(a).

  • NET INVESTMENT FACTOR The Net Investment Factor is an index applied to measure the investment performance of a Subaccount from one Valuation Period to the next. The Net Investment Factor for any Subaccount for any Valuation Period is determined by dividing (1) by (2) and subtracting (3) from the result, where:
