Telecommunications Tower definition

Telecommunications Tower means any tower, apparatus, structure or other thing that is used or is capable of being used for telecommunications or for any operation directly connected with telecommunications, and includes a transmission facility as defined in the Telecommunications Act;

More Definitions of Telecommunications Tower

Telecommunications Tower means a mast, pole, monopole, guyed tower, lattice tower, freestanding tower, or other structure designed and primarily used to support antennas. A ground- or building-mounted mast greater than ten feet tall and six inches in diameter supporting one or more antennas, dishes, arrays, etc. shall be considered a telecommunications tower.

Poles are only a support structure and are not a telecommunications tower.
