free-standing sign means any immobile sign which is not attached to a building or to any structure or object intended to be used for the primary purpose other than advertising;
Free-Standing Appreciation Right means an Appreciation Right granted pursuant to Section 5 of this Plan that is not granted in tandem with an Option Right.
Free-Standing SAR means an SAR which is not granted in tandem with, or by reference to, an option, which entitles the holder thereof to receive, upon exercise, shares of Common Stock (which may be Restricted Stock) or, to the extent set forth in the applicable Agreement, cash or a combination thereof, with an aggregate value equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value of one share of Common Stock on the date of exercise over the base price of such SAR, multiplied by the number of such SARs which are exercised.
Freestanding sign ’ means any sign or group of signs contained or displayed on one freestanding structure which is not attached to a building or to any structure or object not intended to be used for the primary purpose of advertising;
Tandem or “Tandem Switch” means a physical or logical switching entity that has billing and recording capabilities and is used to connect and switch trunk circuits between and among End Office Switches and between and among End Office Switches and carriers’ aggregation points, points of termination, or points of presence, and to provide Switched Exchange Access Services.
Tandem parking means that two or more automobiles are parked on a driveway or in any other location on a lot, lined up behind one another.
Equivalent residential unit means a dwelling, unit, or development that is equal

single detached dwelling means a completely detached Building containing only one Dwelling Unit;
Tax-Free Status means the qualification of a Distribution or any other transaction contemplated by the IRS Ruling or any Tax Opinion as a transaction in which gain or loss is not recognized, in whole or in part, and no amount is included in income, including by reason of Distribution Taxes, for U.S. federal, state, and local income tax purposes (other than intercompany items, excess loss accounts or other items required to be taken into account pursuant to Treasury Regulations promulgated under Section 1502 of the Code).
Tandem Office Switch or “Tandem(s)” are used to connect and switch trunk circuits between and among other Central Office Switches. A Tandem Switch does not include a PBX.
Non-Retail Behind The Meter Generation means Behind the Meter Generation that is used by municipal electric systems, electric cooperatives, or electric distribution companies to serve load.
Service unit means a standardized measure of consumption, use, generation, or discharge attributable to an individual unit of development calculated in accordance with generally accepted engineering or planning standards for a particular category of capital improvements.
Free to Air Channel or “FTA Channel” means a channel which is declared as such by ZEEL and for which no fee is to be paid by the IPTV Operator to ZEEL for availing signals of such channel.
sports award means an award made by one of the Sports Councils named in section 23(2) of the National Lottery etc Act 1993 out of sums allocated to it for distribution under that section;
Brand Name or Equal Specification means a specification which uses one or more manufacturer’s names or catalogue numbers to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet District requirements, and which provides for the submission of equivalent products.
Dwelling unit means a single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation.
Switching and Tagging Rules means the switching and tagging procedures of Interconnected Transmission Owners and Interconnection Customer as they may be amended from time to time.
Accessory dwelling unit means an attached or a detached residential dwelling unit that provides complete independent living facilities for one or more persons and is located on a lot with a proposed or existing primary residence. It shall include permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and sanitation on the same parcel as the single-family or multifamily dwelling is or will be situated. Toll Free Service is service provided with any dialing sequence that invokes toll-free, 800-like, service processing, for example for illustration only, 800 or 800-like services. Toll Free Service includes but is not limited to calls placed to 800/888 NPA Service Access Codes (SAC).

Performance Standard means the acceptable range of performance for a Performance Indicator or a Service Volume that results when a Performance Corridor is applied to a Performance Target;
All-terrain type II vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.
