Telemedicine Medical Services definition

Telemedicine Medical Services means healthcare services delivered to a patient: a) by a physician acting within the scope of the physician’s license or a health professional acting under the delegation and supervision of a physician and within the scope of the health professional’s license; b) from a physical location that is different from the patient’s location; and c) using synchronous audios-visual telecommunications or information technology.
Telemedicine Medical Services means a health care service delivered by a physician licensed in this State, or a health professional acting under the delegation and supervision of a physician licensed in this State, and acting within the scope of the physician’s or health professional’s license to a patient at a different physical location than the physician or health professional using telecommunications or information technology.
Telemedicine Medical Services means a health care service initiated by a physician or provided by a health professional acting under physician delegation or supervision, for purposes of patient assessment by a health professional, diagnosis or consultation by a physician, treatment or the transfer or medical data, that requires the use of advanced telecommunications technology, other than by telephone or facsimile, including

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.

  • Telemedicine means the delivery of health care services through the use of interactive audio and video technology, permitting real-time communication between the patient at the originating site and the provider, for the purpose of diagnosis, consultation, or treatment.
