Time Period Covered definition

Time Period Covered means, with respect to any Accounting Restatement, the three completed fiscal years of the Company immediately preceding the earlier of (i) the date the Board, a committee of the Board, or the officer or officers of the Company authorized to take such action if Board action is not required, concludes (or reasonably should have concluded) that the Company is required to prepare an Accounting Restatement or (ii) the date a regulator, court or other legally authorized entity directs the Company to undertake an Accounting Restatement. The “Time Period Covered” also includes any transition period of less than nine months (that results from a change in the Company’s fiscal year) within or immediately following the three completed fiscal years identified in the preceding sentence.​

  • Time Period means the Term and the twenty-four-month period next following the expiration of the Term.

The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Period of Coverage means the Plan Year, with the following exceptions: (a) for Employees who first become eligible to participate, it shall mean the portion of the Plan Year following the date on which participation commences, as described in Section 3.1; and (b) for Employees who terminate participation, it shall mean the portion of the Plan Year prior to the date on which participation terminates, as described in Section 3.2.

  • Defect Liability Period in relation to a work means the specified period from the date of COMPLETION CERTIFICATE upto the date of issue of FINAL CERTIFICATE during which the CONTRACTOR stands responsible for rectifying all defects that may appear in the works executed by the CONTRACTOR in pursuance of the CONTRACT and includes warranties against Manufacturing/Fabrication/ Erection/Construction defects covering all materials plants, equipment, components, and the like supplied by the CONTRACTOR, works executed against workmanship defects.
