Total Decommissioning Costs definition

Total Decommissioning Costs for any month shall mean the sum of (x) an amount equal to all accruals in such month to any reserve, as from time to time established by Connecticut Yankee and approved by its board of directors, to provide for the ultimate payment of the Decommissioning Expenses of the Unit, plus (y), during the Decommissioning Period, the Decommissioning Expenses for the month, to the extent such Decommissioning Expenses are not paid with funds from such reserve, plus (z) Decommissioning Tax Liability for such month. It is understood (i) that funds received pursuant to clause (x) may be held by Connecticut Yankee or by an independent trust or other separate fund, as determined by said board of directors, (ii) that, upon compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, the amount, custody and/or timing of such accruals may from time to time during the term hereof be modified by said board of directors in its discretion or to comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements or to reflect changes in the amount, custody or timing of anticipated Decommissioning Expenses, and (iii) that the use of the term "to decommission" herein encompasses compliance with all requirements of the NRC for permanent cessation of operation of a nuclear facility and any other activities reasonably related thereto, including provision for the interim storage of spent nuclear fuel.

It is understood (i) that such funds may be held by Vermont Yankee or, if required, by an independent trust or other separate fund, as determined by said board of directors, (ii) that, upon compliance with Section 20 hereof, the amount, custody and/or timing of such accruals may from time to time during the term hereof be modified by said board of directors in its discretion or to comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements or to reflect changes in the amount, custody or timing of anticipated Decommissioning Expenses, and (iii) that the use of the term 'to decommission' herein encompasses compliance with all requirements (other than those relating to spent nuclear fuel) of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its successors (NRC) for permanent cessation of operation of a nuclear facility.

  • In the event of such cancellation, all continuing obligations of the parties other than the obligations relating to the payment and application of Total Decommissioning Costs to the extent excluded from such cancellation by the second preceding sentence, but including the Purchaser's obligations to continue payments pursuant to clauses (a), (c) and (d) of the second paragraph of Section 7 hereof, shall cease forthwith.

Related to Total Decommissioning Costs

  • Operating Costs means the incremental expenses incurred by the Recipient on account of Project implementation, management, and monitoring, including for office space rental, utilities, and supplies, bank charges, communications, vehicle operation, maintenance, and insurance, building and equipment maintenance, advertising expenses, travel and supervision, salaries of contractual and temporary staff, but excluding salaries, fees, honoraria, and bonuses of members of the Recipient’s civil service.

  • Project Expenses means usual and customary operating and financial costs. The term does not include extraordinary capital expenses, development fees and other non-operating expenses.

  • Decommissioning Plan means the document containing detailed information on the proposed decommissioning and covering the following: the selected decommissioning strategy; the schedule, type and sequence of decommissioning activities; the waste management strategy applied, including clearance; the proposed end state; the storage and disposal of the waste from decommissioning; the timeframe for decommissioning; the cost estimates for the completion of decommissioning; and the objectives, expected results, milestones, target dates, as well as the corresponding key performance indicators, including, as appropriate, earned value based indicators. The plan is prepared by the nuclear facility license holder and is reflected in the multiannual work programmes of the Programme;

  • Decommissioning means the measures taken at the end of a facility's operating life to assure the continued protection of the public from any residual radioactivity or other potential hazards present at a facility.

  • Training costs means reasonable costs incurred to upgrade the technological skills of Full-Time Employees in Illinois and includes: curriculum development; training materials (including scrap product cost); trainee domestic travel expenses; instructor costs (including wages, fringe benefits, tuition and domestic travel expenses); rent, purchase or lease of training equipment; and other usual and customary training cots. “Training costs” do not include, except where the Company receives prior written approval of the Department, costs associated with travel outside the United States, wages and fringe benefits of employees during periods of training, administrative costs related to Full-Time Employees of the Taxpayer, or amounts paid to an affiliate of the Company.

  • Building Operating Expenses means the portion of "Operating Expenses," as that term is defined in Section 4.2.7 below, allocated to the tenants of the Building pursuant to the terms of Section 4.3.1 below.

  • Total Operating Expenses means all costs and expenses paid or incurred by the Company, as determined under generally accepted accounting principles, that are in any way related to the operation of the Company or to Company business, including advisory fees, but excluding (i) the expenses of raising capital such as Organization and Offering Expenses, legal, audit, accounting, underwriting, brokerage, listing, registration, and other fees, printing and other such expenses and tax incurred in connection with the issuance, distribution, transfer, registration and Listing of the Shares, (ii) interest payments, (iii) taxes, (iv) non-cash expenditures such as depreciation, amortization and bad debt reserves, (v) incentive fees paid in compliance with the NASAA REIT Guidelines, (vi) Acquisition Fees and Acquisition Expenses, (vii) real estate commissions on the Sale of Properties, (viii) Financing Coordination Fees and (ix) other fees and expenses connected with the acquisition, disposition, management and ownership of real estate interests, mortgage loans or other property (including the costs of foreclosure, insurance premiums, legal services, maintenance, repair and improvement of property).

  • Common Area Operating Expenses are defined, for purposes of this Lease, as all costs incurred by Lessor relating to the ownership and operation of the Industrial Center, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Total Project Costs means the total amount of money required to complete the Project.

  • Base Operating Costs means Operating Costs for the calendar year specified as the Base Year in the Basic Lease Information (excluding therefrom, however, any Operating Costs of a nature that would not ordinarily be incurred on an annual, recurring basis).

  • Project area budget means a multiyear projection of annual or cumulative

  • Operating Expenses is defined to include all expenses necessary or appropriate for the operation of the Fund (or Class, as applicable), including the Advisor’s investment advisory or management fee detailed in the Investment Advisory Agreement and any Rule 12b-1 fees and other expenses described in the Investment Advisory Agreement, but does not include taxes, leverage interest, brokerage commissions, dividend and interest expenses on short sales, acquired fund fees and expenses (as determined in accordance with SEC Form N-1A), expenses incurred in connection with any merger or reorganization, or extraordinary expenses such as litigation expenses.

  • Basic Costs means all direct and indirect costs and expenses incurred in connection with the Building as more fully defined in Exhibit C attached hereto.

  • Project Costs means all allowable costs, as set forth in the applicable Federal cost principles, incurred by a recipient and the value of the contribu- tions made by third parties in accom- plishing the objectives of the award during the project period.

  • Total Contract Price/Project Cost/TCO means the price payable to Service Provider over the entire period of Contract for the full and proper performance of its contractual obligations.

  • Controllable Operating Expenses means all Operating Expenses except real property taxes, all forms of insurance, utility expenses, costs of services provided under a union contract, payments under CC&R’s or to an owners’ association and costs associated with repairs due to casualty, vandalism or other source outside of Landlord’s reasonable control.

  • Operating Cost means the costs associated with operating a multifamily development once the project is placed in service.

  • Planned Expenditures shall have the meaning provided in the definition of the term Excess Cash Flow.

  • Annual Operating Expenses for the Class means and will consist only of the following operating expenses of the Series for the Class that are, under generally accepted accounting principles, accruable and deductible from the Series’ assets with respect to the Class for the calendar year involved: (i) investment advisory fees, if any; (ii) Rule 12b-1 distribution fees, if any; and (iii) custodian fees, shareholder servicing fees, administrative and office facilities expenses, professional fees, trustees’ fees and any other operating expenses of the Series with respect to the Class that are recorded or includable in the Series’ statement of operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Notwithstanding the provisions of the immediately preceding sentence, the Series’ “Annual Operating Expenses” for the Class do not include interest and dividends on securities sold short, amortization of organization expenses, taxes, brokerage commissions, litigation and indemnification expenses or any costs or expenses of or for the Series with respect to the Class that are “extraordinary” as determined under generally accepted accounting principles (see Accounting Principles Board Opinion No. 30).   • Operation and Maintenance Expenses or ‘O&M expenses' means the expenditure incurred on operation and maintenance of the project, or part thereof, and includes the expenditure on manpower, repairs, spares, consumables, insurance and overheads;

  • Pilot project means an innovative environmental project that covers one or more designated facilities, designed and implemented in the form of an EMSA. (See Section 52.3 of the Act.)

  • Operating Expenditures means all Partnership Group cash expenditures (or the Partnership’s proportionate share of expenditures in the case of Subsidiaries that are not wholly owned), including taxes, compensation of employees, officers and directors of the General Partner, reimbursement of expenses of the General Partner and its Affiliates, debt service payments, Maintenance Capital Expenditures, repayment of Working Capital Borrowings and payments made in the ordinary course of business under any Hedge Contracts, subject to the following:

  • Direct Expenses means “Operating Expenses” and “Tax Expenses.”
