Total Tax definition

Total Tax means, with respect to any Tax Return, the aggregate amount of Taxes paid or payable in respect of such Tax Return (determined before applying any Payments and Credits with respect to such Tax Return), including (A) if such Tax Return includes IRS Form 1120 (or any successor thereto), the sum of the total Tax and estimated Tax penalty set forth on lines 31 and 33 of the 2013 version of such form (or the relevant predecessors or successors to such lines) and (B) if such Tax Return is not described in clause (A), any Taxes set forth on comparable lines of other applicable forms for such Tax Return.
Total Tax means the tax imposed under this part for the
Total Tax. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other similar taxes on the Total Consideration for the Allotted Apartment and the Extras and Deposits shall be as per the applicable rates from time to time and the Allottee undertakes and confirms to pay the same to the Promoter with each installment/payment and shall not raise any objection thereto.

Examples of Total Tax in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding any disagreement between the Company and the Agency, the Company shall pay the increased Total Tax Payment until a different Total Tax Payment shall be established.

  • The Agency shall notify the Company of any proposed increase in the Total Tax Payment related to such Future Addition.

  • The Company shall make all such Total Tax Payments in the amounts and on the dates specified above, whether or not any such Total Tax Payment is billed by the Agency, the Affected Tax Jurisdictions, or any other party.

  • For School District purposes, the tax rates used to determine the Total Tax Payment shall be the rate relating to the School District year which includes the Payment Date.

  • Upon the earlier of substantial completion, or the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for any such Future Addition to the Facility, the Company shall become liable for payment of an increase in the Total Tax Payment.

  • For purposes of determining the allocation of the Total Tax Payment among the Affected Tax Jurisdictions, the Agency shall use the last tax rate utilized for levy of taxes by each such jurisdiction.

  • If a lesser Total Tax Payment is determined in any proceeding or by subsequent agreement of the parties, the Total Tax Payment shall be re-computed and any excess payment shall be refunded to the Company or, in the Agency's sole discretion, such excess payment shall be applied as a credit against the next succeeding Total Tax Payment(s).

  • For County, Town and special district purposes, the tax rates used to determine the allocation of the Total Tax Payment shall be the tax rates relating to the calendar year which includes the Payment Date.

  • The Promoter, on receipt of Total Consideration of Apartment, Total Tax and The Total Extras and Deposits as mentioned in clause 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 under the Agreement from the Allottee, shall execute a deed of conveyance and convey the ownership rights of the Apartment together with the right to use the proportionate indivisible undivided share in the Common Areas within the time period as stated in local laws, to the Allottee.

  • As long as the Facility is owned by or leased to the Agency, the Company agrees to pay annually to the Affected Tax Jurisdictions as a payment- in-lieu-of-taxes, on or before September 1 of each year for School District taxes, and on or before January 1 of each year for County and Town taxes (collectively, the "Payment Date"), commencing on September 1, 2024, and January 1, 2025, respectively, an amount equal to the Total Tax Payment, as described in Schedule A attached hereto.

Total Tax has the meaning set forth in Section 1.14.
Total Tax. ’ means the tax imposed under this part for the taxable year, before the application under Section 19007 of any payment of estimated tax or any installment thereof, less all credits allowed for the taxable year except for the following:
Total Tax means the amount of tax payable by the eligible corporation pursuant to this Act for a taxation year before the application of any deductions or credits pursuant to sections 60.1, 61.1, 63.2, 63.3, 64.3, 64.4 or 67.1 for the taxation year.

  • central tax means the central goods and services tax levied under section 9 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act;

  • Actual Tax Liability means, with respect to any Taxable Year, the liability for Covered Taxes of the Corporation (a) appearing on Tax Returns of the Corporation for such Taxable Year and (b) if applicable, determined in accordance with a Determination (including interest imposed in respect thereof under applicable law).

  • Specific local tax means a tax levied under 1974 PA 198, MCL 207.551 to 207.572, the commercial redevelopment act, 1978 PA 255, MCL 207.651 to 207.668, the technology park development act, 1984 PA 385, MCL 207.701 to 207.718, and 1953 PA 189, MCL 211.181 to 211.182. The initial assessed value or current assessed value of property subject to a specific local tax shall be the quotient of the specific local tax paid divided by the ad valorem millage rate. However, after 1993, the state tax commission shall prescribe the method for calculating the initial assessed value and current assessed value of property for which a specific local tax was paid in lieu of a property tax.

  • Maximum Special Tax means the maximum Special Tax, determined in accordance with Section C below, that can be levied in any Fiscal Year on any Assessor’s Parcel.

  • Final Tax Amount has the meaning set forth in Section 4.01(b)(ii).
