Toxic Organics definition

Toxic Organics means all substances listed in Tables II and V of 40 CFR Part 122, Appendix D.

  • Toxic chemical means a chemical or chemical category listed in 40 CFR 372.65.

  • Toxic Substance includes but is not limited to asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and lead-based paints.

As used in this Contract: “Release” means spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping or disposing.
