Union Requirement definition

Union Requirement means the obligation that the contractors and each subcontractor of every tier used by Tenant shall for the duration of its contract (a) be a party to or bound by a collective bargaining agreement applicable to the geographic area in which the Building is located, applicable to the trade or trades in which the work under the contract is to be performed, and entered into with one or more labor organizations affiliated with the Building and Construction Trades Department of the AFL-CIO or with an independent, nationally recognized labor organization or one of its affiliated locals, and (b) solely employ members of such labor organizations to perform work within their respective traditional jurisdictions.
Union Requirement is the obligation to (a) be a party to or bound by a collective bargaining agreement with a labor organization affiliated with Building and Construction Trade Department of the AFL-CIO, if EXHIBIT B -7- applicable, to the trade or activity in question which is paid for, in whole or in part, with the proceeds of the Tenant Allowance, and (b) employ only workers of such labor organizations to perform work within their respective jurisdictions.

Examples of Union Requirement in a sentence

  • Tenant shall not allow a contractor to perform any Tenant's Work or alterations, improvements or additions ("Alterations") to the Premises, and Landlord may reasonably withhold approval of any contractor, that does not intend to employ union labor for any portion of Tenant's Work or Alterations (the "Union Requirement").

  • All of the terms of such Exhibit and the following Sections of the Third Amendment shall be applicable to any alterations, improvements and construction by Tenant in Suite C-200: Sections 8.3 (Union Requirement), 8.4 (Construction Costs), and 8.5 (Removal of Alterations).

  • All workers who perform work on the Project which is paid for, ----- in whole or in part, with the proceeds of the Tenant Allowance must be members in good standing of the union having jurisdiction over the trade work being performed, if applicable, and each contractor performing such work on the Project must be a party to a union contract, if the type of work performed by the contractor is covered by the Union Requirement.

  • Contractors, subcontractors and other ------------------------------ agents engaged by Tenant, Tenant's Designer or Tenant's Contractor (as defined below) from time to time to perform services with respect to the Tenant Improvements shall be subject to Landlord's prior reasonable approval and shall be subject to the Union Requirement.

  • All work of Alterations shall be in compliance with the Union Requirement described in Section 13 of the Work Letter Agreement.

  • The Tenant Improvements shall be subject to, and in compliance with the Union Requirement (defined below) and Section 5.8, and pursuant to all other terms and conditions of the Lease.

Related to Union Requirement

  • Certification Requirements means those requirements specified or referenced in this Agreement that you must meet in order to use and maintain the Certification Designation and use the Logo in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Risk Retention Requirements means the credit risk retention requirements of Section 15G of the Exchange Act (15 U.S.C. §78o-11), as added by Section 941 of the ▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

  • Qualification Requirements means the qualification requirements as set forth in Section-2, Clause 2.1 of this RFP;

  • Data Protection Requirements means (a) Data Protection Laws; (b) Privacy Policies; and (c) Data Protection Orders.

  • Perfection Requirement or “Perfection Requirements” shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4(j) of this Agreement.
