Universal Technology definition

Universal Technology means Universal’s rights to Gene Editing Technology and HLA Engineering Technology existing prior to the Effective Date or first conceived or first generated or first reduced to practice outside of the performance of the Research Program together with any improvements or developments to such technology made by Universal in the course of the Research Program, in each case which is used or incorporated in the Research Program (including any process used for manufacture or development of any work product).
