Update Period definition

Update Period means, with respect to each Seat issued in connection with this Agreement, a period of one (1) year from the first date of issuance to Licensee of the Authorization Codes for such Seat.

Update Period means the shorter of (i) the eighteen (18) month period following the Installation Date or (ii) the period from the Installation Date through the date that the last Update is received by Customer prior to written notice from Customer that Customer no longer desires to receive Updates. Notwithstanding the definition of Update set forth in this Agreement, solely for the purpose of determining the Update Period, neither Developments nor enhancements for messaging, modules or programs required to support Europay MasterCard Visa chip-based cards shall be considered Updates.

More Definitions of Update Period

Update Period means the period of the Software upgrade and maintenance plan selected with the purchase of a perpetual License.
