Vessel or Craft definition

Vessel or Craft means any vessel or craft or object made or intended to float on or in or travel on or through water or air.

  • Decrease in valueAny decrease in value of your Vessel or Craft following a repair or replacement paid for under this Policy.

  • The Berthholder shall take all reasonable steps to protect the Vessel or Craft from theft and vandalism and shall keep all hatches and other openings closed and securely fastened when not in use.

  • Liability arising out of the ownership, possession or use by You or on Your behalf of any Vessel or Craft designed to travel in, on or through water, air or space (other than handpropelled watercraft).

  • You and anyone using your Vessel or Craft must take all reasonable care to prevent loss, damage, accidents or injury and ensure that the Vessel or Craft is in a seaworthy condition.

  • The Berthholder agrees not to use the Vessel or Craft or permit the same to be used for the purpose of habitation without the Company’s prior permission PROVIDED THAT such permission shall in no event be provided for any period exceeding 11 consecutive months.

  • Where a person under the age of 18 takes the helm of the insured Vessel or Craft it is a requirement that there is a suitably experienced adult supervising and in position to take control where necessary.

  • Coastal vessel means any vessel exclusively employed in trading between any port or place in India to any other port or place in India having a valid coastal license issued by the competent authority.

  • international organisation means an organisation and its subordinate bodies governed by public international law, or any other body which is set up by, or on the basis of, an agreement between two or more countries.
