Viral License definition

Viral License means any license that requires, as a condition of use, modification and/or distribution of materials, that other materials used, combined, or distributed with the initial materials be (a) disclosed or distributed in source code or similar form, (b) licensed for the purpose of making derivative works, or (c) redistributable at no charge. The term includes, but is not limited to, the GNU General Public License, the GNU Lesser General Public License, a Mozilla Public License, or similar license.
Viral License means any license for Open Source Materials that requires, as a condition of use, modification and/or distribution of software subject to such license, that such software or other software combined and/or distributed with such software must be: (i) disclosed or distributed in source code form; (ii) licensed for the purpose of making derivative works; or (iii) redistributable at no charge. Company has not distributed any Software that is Company Intellectual Property in a manner that would cause any component of such Software to become subject to any of the terms of a Viral License.
