Zones which will typically apply are:• Landside Restricted Zone – an area of land, to which access is controlled, within the boundaries of a Port Facility;• Waterside Restricted Zone – an area of water within the Port where a Ship may berth, anchor or moor, and access to the area is controlled.
Zones established at Maritime Security Level 1 are as follows:• Waterside Restricted Zone – fifty (50) metres from any Wharf; and• Landside Restricted Zones – areas defined by security fences and signage on all adjacent Berths and commercial use areas.All zones will be clearly identified and conditions must be observed by all Port users.Access to the zones is controlled and entry into the zones is not permitted unless authorised by the Ship and/or Ports North, as required.
