Weapons offense definition

Weapons offense means any violation in any jurisdiction of any law which involves the sale, purchase, transfer in any manner, receipt, acquisition, possession, having under control, use, repair, manufacture, carrying, or transportation of any firearm, ammunition, or destructive device.

The depth of insertion shall not be relevant to the question of commission of the crime;
