Wireless Terminal definition

Wireless Terminal means a mobile short range or long range Terminal that derives power from a battery and communicates over cellular or data communication services and includes a Terminal that is used in connection with wireless communications services.
Wireless Terminal means a Terminal that allows wireless processing and includes general packet radio service terminal (“GPRS Terminals”).
Wireless Terminal means the long range point-of- sale payment processing device capable of communicating over the Network that you rent from us that derives power from a battery.

Examples of Wireless Terminal in a sentence

  • If you use a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal, you acknowledge and agree that due to the nature of wireless technology, certain limitations exist that may affect the performance, Coverage Area and reliability of wireless technology and wireless processing in relation to a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal.

  • In the event that your ability to process wireless Transactions is limited or prevented for any reason, you agree not to use the Wireless Terminal and instead, to process the Transaction using alternative means as set out in the Agreement.

  • If you choose to complete a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal Transaction without an Authorisation Code as required by section 7(a) or without applying SCA as required by section 7(h), because wireless coverage is not available or otherwise (e.g. you store Transaction data in a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal, provide the Cardholder with goods and/or services and subsequently request Authorisation of the Transaction), you do so entirely at your own risk.

  • If we ask you, you will tell us where each Wireless Terminal is at any time and who is in possession of it.

  • If you choose to complete a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal Transaction without an Authorisation Code as required by section 7(a), or without applying SCA as required by section 7(h) because wireless coverage is not available or otherwise (e.g. you store Transaction data in a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal, provide the Cardholder with goods and/ or services and subsequently request Authorisation of the Transaction), you do so entirely at your own risk.

  • If you choose to complete a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal Transaction without an Authorisation Code as required by section 7(b) or without SCA as required by section 7(h), because wireless coverage is not available or otherwise (e.g. you store Transaction data in a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal, provide the Cardholder with goods and/or services and subsequently request Authorisation of the Transaction), you do so entirely at your own risk.

  • If you use a Wireless Local Area Network (LAN) or Wireless Terminal the following Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions set out in Part 1.

  • If you choose to complete a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal Transaction without an Authorisation Code as required by section 7(a), or without applying SCA as required by section 7(h) because wireless coverage is not available or otherwise (e.g. you store Transaction data in a Card Reader or other Wireless Terminal, provide the Cardholder with goods and/or services and subsequently request Authorisation of the Transaction), you do so entirely at your own risk.

  • POS Terminal or ‘Point-of-Sale Terminal’ means an electronic device used by a Retailer to authorise and accept a Card Transaction.

  • Network Termination Point (NTP) means the physical point at which a subscriber is provided with access to a public communications network; in the case of networks involving switching or routing, the NTP is identified by means of a specific network address, which may be linked to a subscriber number or name;

  • Wireless service provider means a person that provides wireless service to the public.

  • Wireless services means any services, provided using licensed or unlicensed spectrum, including the use of Wi-Fi, whether at a fixed location or mobile.

  • Micro wireless facility means a small cell facility that is not larger in dimension than 24 inches in length, 15 inches in width, and 12 inches in height and that has an exterior antenna, if any, not longer than 11 inches.

  • Local Access Transport Area (LATA) is As Defined in the Act.

  • Terminal means the EMV-enabled machine, terminal or other hardware device you obtain from NCR Voyix as an item of Hardware to use in connection with the Service to make the Offering to the Service User and to access the EMV PSP Service.

  • Third Party Terminating Carrier means a Telecommunications Carrier to which traffic is terminated when CLEC originates traffic that is sent through AT&T-TSP’s network, i.e., CLEC is using AT&T-TSP’s Transit Traffic Service.
