Withholding payments definition

Withholding payments means the temporary withholding of advances or reimbursements to a grantee or subgrantee for proper charges or obligations incurred, pending resolution of issues of noncompliance with grant conditions or indebtedness to the U. S. or State of Texas. Withholding payments is not considered an adverse action for the purpose of protest or appeal.

  • In the event of the Contractor's noncompliance with the nondiscrimination provisions of this contract, the Airports Authority will impose such contract sanctions as it or the FAA may determine to be appropriate, including, but not limited to: Withholding payments to the Contractor under the contract until the Contractor complies; and/or cancelling, terminating, or suspending a contract, in whole or in part.
