Work completed definition

Work completed means the extent to which construction has been completed on a Development Project at the point of determination.
Work completed includes: (a) work that is required by the employer to be undertaken outside of normal rostered hours and which is unexpected and unable to be planned for. Such work includes, but is not limited to: (i) “urgent” help desk requests from IT users; or (ii) undertaking emergency network backup or restoration. (b) work undertaken away from the workplace (for example: the employees home via remote IT access), (c) work undertaken in the workplace. (d) In relation to on call work undertaken, work is taken to commence: (i) In the case of remote work where travel to another destination is not required, from the time the request for assistance or support is received; or (ii) Where travel to the workplace is required and travel is direct to the workplace, from the time the employee commences the journey to the workplace. (e) In relation to on call work undertaken, work is taken to be completed: (i) In the case of remote work where travel to another destination is not required, at the time the response to the request for assistance has ceased, or been suspended, pending attention at a later time; or (i) Where travel from the workplace is required and travel is direct to home, or another destination, the time the employee reaches their home or another destination.

Examples of Work completed in a sentence

  • NYSERDA may adjust amounts payable to correlate the proportion of NYSERDA’s funding share paid to the proportion of the Work completed.

  • If invoicing is monthly, the Consultant must submit its invoice to the City by the 10th Business Day of each month for Work completed during the previous month.

  • If the Consultant is entitled to reimbursable expenses and/or separate payment for subconsultant costs, the invoice will include such expenses and/or costs associated with the Work completed during the invoice period.

  • If time and materials is the basis of compensation, then the Consultant will base its invoice on the hours, professional fees, costs, and charges associated with the Work completed during the invoice period.

  • If the Consultant invoices monthly for a “fixed fee,” then the Consultant will base its monthly invoice on the percentage of Work completed during the previous month.

  • In accordance with Public Contract Code Section 9203, District shall not make progress payments in excess of ninety-five percent (95%) of the percentage of actual Work completed plus a like percentage of the value of material delivered.

  • For all other purposes, unless otherwise agreed by the parties in writing, Substantial Completion of the Work as a whole is the date on which the last element or part of the Work completed receives a Substantial Completion certificate.

  • The County shall pay the Contractor for the Work completed prior to the effective date of the termination and such other payment Contractor is entitled to under Attachment A, section III.

  • A Construction Schedule showing the Work completed in less than the Contract Time, the time between the early completion date and the end of the Contract Time shall be Float.

  • The State shall pay each invoice within 45 days following the State’s receipt of that invoice, so long as the amount invoiced correctly represents Work completed by Local Agency and previously accepted by the State during the term that the invoice covers.

  • Work crew means a program of partial confinement

  • Project Completion means the date, as determined by the Division after consultation with the Recipient, that operation of the Project is initiated or is capable of being initiated, whichever comes first.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Final Completion means acceptance of the Work by the County as evidenced by its signature upon Final Certificate of Completion and approval thereof by the Board of County Commissioners. The Final Certificate of Completion shall be signed only after the County has assured itself by tests, inspection or otherwise that all of the provisions of the Contract have been carried out to its satisfaction.

  • Work Schedule means the approved order and timeline for how the requirements of this contract, including Work on individual Units or groups of Units, will be fulfilled by the Contractor.
