CANCELLATION COVERAGE. ARTICLE ONE. DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IS COVERED In the points laid down in these Conditions, reimbursement of the price of tickets for events acquired through the POLICYHOLDER up to the maximum limit stated in the policy is covered, provided that the Insured cannot attend the event for any of the causes stated below which must be duly accredited. Causes for cancellation covered: 1. Serious illness, bodily harm or death of: The Insured or relative thereof as defined in this policy. Serious illness: understood to be a major deterioration of health as acknowledged by a healthcare professional and which implies admission to hospital or the requirement of being bedridden, which persists to within the three days of the event and which, according to the medical team of the INSURER, make it medically impossible to attend the event on the day scheduled. Where illness affects relatives of the insured, whether they are insured or not, serious illness will be taken to mean that which requires admission to hospital or risk of imminent death and which persists to within the three days of the event taking place.
