Applicable legislation. The Auditor verifies that expenditure complies with the requirements of tax and social security legislation where APPENDIX D: Terms of reference for an expenditure verification of a CHP Support Grant received from the CEB this is applicable (for example: employers’ part oftaxes, pension premiums and social security charges). This shall include the exclusion of duties, taxes or charges, including VAT, from expenditure incurred and paid under the Country Housing Project Support Grant Agreement, in line with the Article 4.7.2 of the Framework Agreement. The Auditor verifies that expenditure for a selected item is substantiated by evidence (see section 1 of Annex 2B, Guidelines for Specific Procedures to be performed) and supporting documents.
