Common use of Insured costs Clause in Contracts

Insured costs. 1.1. The costs of travel services that have been booked but not used (e.g. hotel, hired car, round trip). The day of departure or the day on which the insured event occurs is considered to be a used day of travel or hire. 1.2. Any reimbursements or alternative services given directly to the insured will be deducted from his claim to insurer as set out in point 1.1. 1.3. Not reimbursed are the costs of a booked return trip.
