Common use of Suspension of the Services Clause in Contracts

Suspension of the Services. (in Hungarian: “szünetelés”) Pursuant to Section 136. § (1) of the Eht., provided that the Service Provider gives the Subscriber as much notice as reasonably practicable, the Service Provider may occasionally suspend a Service in an event of emergency and/or to safeguard the integrity and security of its network and/or repair or enhance the performance of its network. In case the suspension of services occurs due to a cause which is extraneous to both Parties, or which is the responsibility of the Service Provider, excluding the ordinary maintenance of the network, Section 136. § (2) shall be applied.
