ICT. Supporting software - the back office notice processing software system will need to be upgraded to accommodate penalty charge notices generated from the new area of enforcement. The output from the approved camera system will have the ability to dovetail with the current notice processing software – this will offer immediate compatibility. It will be necessary to create a number of new standard document templates for use in the system.
ICT. There are ICT implications in relation to the development of an LATC. The company would be provided with ICT support by the Council in the same way that this is currently provided to departments across the authority now. The company would have access to the same hardware which would be replaced as per the Council’s refresh programme. The company would also have access to its own website which would link to the Council as well as existing software file directories.

Il 43% della popolazione dell’area non è raggiunta dalla banda larga, mentre solo il 20% della popolazione è raggiunta dai servizi di ADSL su rete fissa almeno a 2 mbps (di cui solo il 9,5% da banda superiore ai 2 mbps). In molte aree la telefonia mobile non riesce ad assicurare il 4G e talvolta nemmeno la rete. Le reti in rame non rispondono più alle necessita di connessione attuale e sono di difficile manutenzione. La fibra ottica è limitata ad alcune dorsali di fondo valle, peraltro assolutamente inutilizzate. È in corso la strategia nazionale di Banda Ultra Larga (BUL), di cui tuttavia non si conoscono ancora tempistiche e programma di dettaglio per l’area. La tecnologia del fixed wireless riesce a sopperire al digital divide raggiungendo case, aziende e istituzioni del territorio con una velocità mediamente inferiore o prossima ai 30Mbps in download/upload.
ICT. La funzione ICT assolve allo scopo di garantire il servizio di information technology, sia interno all’ azienda sia di comunicazione esterna. La funzione ICT si occupa di: • Protezione fisica dei dati; • Utilizzo dei sistemi informativi; • Controlli specifici; • Attività della Funzione preposta ai sistemi informativi.
