MACS. The Bridge is to be equipped with a Management and Control System (MACS), which enables the Bridge Operator to carry out the operation of the Bridge and maintenance of the Bridge structure and installations in a safe and structured manner. MACS is the overall architecture of the whole system. MACS is subdivided into SCADA and MMS. Figure 2.1 shows the overall system architecture for MACS.
