Intent of the Parties Concerning the Family and Medical Leave Act. The Employer and the Union acknowledge and agree that their intent is to make the provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) available to full-time and part-time bargaining unit members who have completed the probationary period as defined in Article 23 of this Agreement.
