Use and system restrictions. The functions described in 4.1 can be accessed in the PCM at any time, pro- vided that your vehicle has connectivity, i.e. a reliable mobile phone connec- tion. It is not possible to install an Online Software Update if your vehicle is in private mode. Additional requirements (e.g. parking the vehicle safely or not connecting the vehicle to a charging station) are update-specific and will be displayed in the PCM before each installation.
