Common use of Day-Patient or Out-Patient Surgery Clause in Contracts

Day-Patient or Out-Patient Surgery. The insurer will cover the actual incurred treatment costs for a surgical procedure performed in a surgery, hospital, day-care facility or out-patient department. The benefits for such coverage should be mutually agreed between the policyholder and insurer and stipulated in the insurance contract.

Day-Patient or Out-Patient Surgery. The insurer will cover the actual incurred treatment costs for a surgical procedure performed in a surgery, hospital, day-care facility or out-patient department. Any pre or post-operative consultations are payable under Article 5, Benefit 20 – Out-Patient Charges on the insurance contract. The benefits for such coverage should be mutually agreed between the policyholder and insurer and stipulated in the insurance contract.
