OF INTENT. The York Region Roman Catholic Separate School Board endorses the use of Educational Assistants, as a special education support service, to assist the Teacher with the implementation of education, in its schools. Since it is the goal of the Board and the members of the bargaining unit to provide students with the best possible educational opportunities, the following have been agreed to: The Board is to ensuring that the workload assigned to Educational Assistants is fairly and equitably distributed.
