PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 6.1. REGULAR RATE OF PAY: The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Article 19. The regular rate of pay shall include any shift differential and/or longevity increment required to be paid under this Agreement.

PAY AND ALLOWANCES. Work within close contact: Unit members who volunteer to directly work with students in person while on Plan C and are considered close contacts (CDC definition: ‘within 6 feet for longer than 15 minutes’) will receive an additional $7.50 per hour paid by timecard.

Members who will receive adjustments below with an asterisk (*) after the title are not eligible for the signing bonus. APPENDIX A – PRIMARY PRODUCTS INSPECTION (PI)* Effective June 22, 2016, an additional increment of 4% will be added to the maximum rate of pay of PI levels. PI-CGC-07 rates of pay will also be included in the new collective agreement. APPENDIX A1 – TECHNICAL INSPECTION (TI) GROUP ANNUAL RATES OF PAY* On June 22, 2016 all terminable allowances from Appendix P will be rolled into salary. Further, on that date, an additional 4% increment will be added to the top of Aviation, Marine, and Rail rates of pay. APPENDIX K – DIVING DUTY & TRANSFER AT SEA ALLOWANCES Both the Diving Duty and Transfer at Sea allowances are now applicable to all employees who perform these duties, and the rates have been increased to: • K-1: Diving Allowance increased to $25 • K-4: Transfer at Sea Allowance increased to $10 APPENDIX P – TECHNICAL INSPECTION (TI) GROUP* The value of the terminable allowance will be rolled into the wage rates in Xxxxxxxx X-0, effective June 22, 2016. Following this, Appendix P will be deleted.
PAY AND ALLOWANCES. APPENDIX FF – EG COMPARABILITY AT THE CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY Although we were not able to achieve parity with EGs at CFIA, we have secured a commitment that we can file for arbitration to resolve this issue outside of regular bargaining. We can do so as early as June 2021. We feel that we have very strong arguments to make the case to achieve parity for EG members. If the employer does not agree to address parity at that time, we can put this issue alone in front of an arbitrator before negotiations in the next round are concluded. RETROACTIVITY FOR NEW ALLOWANCES Employees who meet the eligibility criteria for new or amended allowances on the date of signature of the collective agreement are eligible for a one-time lump sum payment to be issued within 180 days of signature of the collective agreement as follows: • Employees newly eligible for the Appendix AA, DD and EE allowances: $1,767. • Employees newly eligible for the Appendix BB allowance: $1,250. • Employees already eligible for the current $3,154 Appendix CC allowance on date of signature of the collective agreement: $1,100. • Employees newly eligible for the Appendix CC allowance: $2,677. • GT-06 and GT-07 employees already eligible for the current allowance under Appendix W: $1,080 (GT-06) or $1,056 (GT-07). • Employees newly eligible for the allowance under Appendix W: the relevant monthly amount multiplied by six (6). APPENDIX Z – FISHERY OFFICERS ALLOWANCE Effective 180 days following the signature of the agreement, Fishery Officers at the GT-02, GT- 03, GT-04 and GT-05 levels will receive an increase to their existing annual allowance from $3,000 to $3,534. APPENDIX AA – ENFORCEMENT AND WILDLIFE OFFICERS ALLOWANCE Effective 180 days following the signature of the agreement, Enforcement and Wildlife Officers at Environment Canada who are fully designated with peace officer powers at levels GT-02, GT-03, GT-04 and GT-05 will receive an increase to their existing annual allowance from $3,000 to $3,534. The allowance will expand to include eligible supervisors at the GT-06 and GT-07 levels. APPENDIX BB - DND FLEET MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE Effective 180 days following the signature of the agreement, the existing $2,500 annual allowance for employees at the EG-06 level working at Fleet Maintenance Facilities will be expanded to cover all employees working in fleet maintenance facilities or the Formation Technical Authority as well as those at 202 Workshop Depot.
PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 1 7.1 Beginning with July 1, 2014, a 2.0% increase will be applied to the Classified Unit 2 salary schedule (excluding Child Development – State Preschool, Child Development 3 – Head Start, and Nutrition Services Classified salary schedules). 4 5 The District shall make a one-time “off the salary schedule” payment equal to one 6 percent (1%) of the actual annual end-of-month earnings to all bargaining unit 7 members (excluding Child Development – State Preschool, Child Development – 8 Head Start, and Nutrition Services) employed as of August 29, 2014. 9 10 For the 2014-15 school year only, one “off the salary schedule” staff development
