Common use of Preceptor Differential Clause in Contracts

Preceptor Differential. 30 The Hospital will pay a differential of $1.00 per hour for time spent by an eligible 31 nurse precepting new graduate nurses, newly-hired nurses or nurses transferring 1 to a different nursing unit requiring orientation. In order to be eligible for the 2 preceptor differential, the precepting nurse will be responsible for planning, 3 implementing, documenting and evaluating with the appropriate nursing director 4 the new nurse’s performance during the preceptorship. In order to be eligible for 5 the preceptor premium, the assigned nurse will have satisfactorily completed the 6 preceptor competency training provided by the Hospital, once the program is 7 developed.

In 23 order to be eligible for the 2 preceptor differential, the precepting nurse will be 24 responsible for planning, 3 implementing, documenting and evaluating with the 25 appropriate nursing director 4 the new nurse’s performance during the 26 preceptorship. In order to be eligible for 5 the preceptor premium, the assigned 27 nurse will have satisfactorily completed the 6 preceptor competency training 28 provided by the Hospital, once the program is 7 developed.

Preceptor Differential. 30 The Hospital will pay a differential of $1.00 per hour for 9 time spent by an eligible 31 nurse precepting new graduate nurses, newly-hired 10 nurses or nurses transferring 1 to a different nursing unit requiring orientation. In 11 order to be eligible for the 2 preceptor differential, the precepting nurse will be 12 responsible for planning, 3 implementing, documenting and evaluating with the 13 appropriate nursing director 4 the new nurse’s performance during the 14 preceptorship. In Effective the first pay period following July 1, 2010, in order to be 15 eligible for 5 the preceptor premium, the assigned nurse will have satisfactorily 16 completed the 6 preceptor competency training provided by the Hospital, once the program is 7 developed.
