Shift Differential. The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.
Shift Differential a. Any full time or part-time employee whose regularly assigned shift ends between 8:00 pm – 9:59 pm shall receive a shift differential of thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours worked.
Shift Differential. A shift differential of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour shall be paid on all hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.

Shift Differential. The Employer shall pay a shift differential to an employee who works a qualifying shift. A qualifying shift means a full-time or permanent part-time shift, which starts at or after 2 P.M. and at or before 1 A.M. The Employer shall pay a shift differential on a prorated basis to an employee who works any part of a qualifying shift. The rate of shift differential pay shall be $0.625/hour for all classifications in salary grades 5 through 17. The Employer may not pay a shift differential to an employee who is on leave.
Shift Differential. A shift differential of two and one-half percent (2 1/2%) shall be paid to employees who are regularly assigned to a work schedule which includes the hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Shift Differential. All employees who work an evening (second) shift shall be paid a shift differential of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour. All employees who work a night shift (third) shall be paid a shift differential of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour.

Night shift pay differential is not to be construed as part of base pay for purpose of payment of compensatory time or leave time upon separation of employment with the District.
