Common use of Preceptor Differential Clause in Contracts

Preceptor Differential. A. A nurse who is assigned by the Hospital to act as preceptor to a student nurse, a new graduate nurse, or a nurse who is new to the Hospital (which also includes travelers), or to a nurse who is new to a service (e.g., transfer to CCU with no previous experience, Flex Team nurse orienting to a unit), shall receive an additional $1.50 per hour for all hours spent precepting.

A nurse who is assigned by the Hospital to act as preceptor to a student nurse, a new 32 graduate nurse, or a nurse who is new to the Hospital (which also includes travelers), or 33 to a nurse who is new to a service (e.g., transfer to CCU with no previous experience, 34 Flex Team nurse orienting to a unit), shall receive an additional $1.50 per hour for all 35 hours spent precepting.

Preceptor Differential. 24 A. A nurse who is assigned by the Hospital to act as preceptor to a student 25 nurse, a new graduate nurse, or a nurse who is new to the Hospital (which 26 also includes travelers), or to a nurse who is new to a service (e.g., transfer 27 to CCU with no previous experience, Flex Team nurse orienting to a unit), 28 shall receive an additional two dollars and twenty five cents ($1.50 2.25) per hour 29 for all hours spent precepting.
