Preferred Hours. The employer will have regard to the impact of working hours on the personal circumstances, study requirements and family requirements of employees when arranging the roster. Where an employee makes a request to regular work at preferred times that are suited to the employee, that have neither been arranged or requested by the employer, the employer may agree to offer such preferred hours of work. In order for preferred hours to be worked:

Employees who do not elect to work preferred hours and who are required to work on a Saturday, Sunday or Public holiday will be paid the penalty rates described in Clause 8. Casual employees may be engaged for work on an hourly basis, at any time or any day of the week. The minimum period of engagement for casual employees shall be two hours on any day.

Preferred Hours. Where an employee advises that he/she prefers hours of work that are outside the span of ordinary hours prescribed in clause 6.1 and the employer agrees, then the applicable rate of pay is equivalent to the ordinary time rates of pay. Provided that the employee can revert that preference during the life of the agreement and work within the ordinary span of hours.

  • Extended Hours Depending upon local service capabilities, available extended hour plans include 5-, 6-, and 7-day, 8-, 16-, and 24-hour options at additional cost. Alaris will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide Service outside of Agreement Hours as shown below. Any such service performed will be billed at prevailing Alaris Per Call Overtime rates.

  • Ordinary Hours 6.1.1 Ordinary hours will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a maximum of 7.6 ordinary paid hours a day. All ordinary hours shall be worked between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

  • Regular The ECD for regular employees is calculated by giving service credits for: • probationary employment; • 100% of employment service in an acquired Company; • previous regular and temporary (full-time and reduced hours employment), if there has been no break in service exceeding twelve (12) months; • previous casual construction employment if there was no break in employment exceeding three (3) months (or 12 months for casual construction employees on the Pension and Insurance Plan). (The ECD has an impact on sick leave and severance pay.)

  • Standard Hours (1) Except as otherwise provided, the standard workweek shall consist of five consecutive days from Monday to Friday, inclusive.

  • Business Hours Service Requests will only be processed by the LFC during Business Hours except where explicitly required by the Service Level Terms.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Flexible Hours Upon the request of an employee and the concurrence of the Employer, an employee may work flexible hours on a daily basis so long as the daily hours amount to seven and one-half (71/2).

  • Consecutive Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by unpaid lunch periods. No split shifts will be implemented without the mutual agreement of the Local Union and the Appointing Authority. Each party may cancel such agreement with thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.
