Programme Steering Committee. 7.1 The Government will appoint a Programme Steering Committee (PSC) which shall be chaired by the Permanent Secretary PMO and shall be composed by the Permanent Secretaries of the ministries in charge of agriculture, fisheries, finance and planning, and local government from the Mainland and Zanzibar, as well as representatives from the private sector and farmers’ organizations. The Programme Steering committee will meet twice a year.

Programme Steering Committee. The Programme oversight will be provided by a Programme Steering Committee (PSC) comprising both the public and private sector, chaired by the Secretary for Local Government and Rural Development. Members of PSC will be the (1) Secretary for Local Government and Rural Development; (2) Secretary to the Treasury; (3) Secretary for Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development;
Programme Steering Committee. (PSC). A multi-sector stakeholder Programme Steering Committee, chaired by the Secretary to the Treasury or his/her designate, will be established to provide overall Programme oversight, direction, and advice. The PSC will be made up of representatives of key stakeholders including, inter-alia, government ministries, farmer organisations, financial apex bodies, the private sector, and development partners. The PSC would meet on a quarterly basis to review work plans and budgets, financial and progress reports, receive draft annual reports and approve all major Programme decisions. The multi-sectoral composition of the PSC will ensure the Programme’s implementation complements rather than duplicates other government interventions and encourages private sector participation, and harmonizes the Programme’s contribution with the Government's strategic priorities and development objectives for the sector.
Programme Steering Committee. The Programme Steering Committee (“PSC”) will provide overall policy guidance, coordination and supervision. The PSC will be chaired by the Ministry of Finance (MoF). Members of the PSC will include representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD), Ministry of Federal Affairs and Federal Administration (MoFAGA), IECCD MOF, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, State 5 and ADBL (as member secretary). Representatives in the PSC may include the other financier(s), implementing agencies, stakeholders and others.

The Lead Programme Agency shall establish the Programme Steering Committee (PSC) which shall inform the Borrower/Recipient on overall execution of the Programme and ensure effective coordination among relevant government and donor-funded Programmes. The PSC shall be chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the MAL and shall include relevant MAL Directors, the Chief Accountant, the Chairperson of the Veterinary Council, representatives of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Education and Ministry of Local Government and Housing at Director level and any other member as deemed appropriate. The Programme Coordinator shall act as Secretary to the PSC. Among other things, the PSC shall be in charge of the strategic management of the Programme including: (i) appointment of key Programme staff, (ii) approval of the PIM and the AWPBs, (iii) approval of Programme Progress Reports, and (iv) taking any other decisions related to Programme coordination, orientation and mobilization of resources.

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department.
