Seminars and Conferences. The Board of Education at its discretion approves attendance of teachers at educational conferences that occur on school time. These leaves do not affect the current or accumulated leave day use. The Board will grant to each employee approved to attend such function a leave with pay and agreed expense allowance for the period of time necessary to attend.
Seminars and Conferences. Employees may from time to time attend conferences, seminars, training sessions, etc. The registration fees and related expenses may be paid upon approval of the Employer. The attending employee may be required to sign a reimbursement agreement agreeing to fully reimburse the Employer for all expenses relating to seminars, etc., should voluntary termination occur within two (2) years of the seminar, conference, etc.

Seminars and Conferences. Up to two (2) members of the Union elected to attend a seminar or conference shall be allowed a maximum of five (5) work days each per year with pay.

Seminars and Conferences. Judge is required to attend the annual Kansas Municipal Judges Conference provided in conjunction with the State of Kansas and the Kansas Municipal Judges Association. In addition, the Judge is strongly encouraged to annually attend one national course/conference for judges such as those offered by one of the organizations listed on Exhibit A (a “Judicial Conference”). The City will reimburse Judge for her costs incurred for attending the annual Kansas Municipal Judges Conference and up to one Judicial Conference in accordance with the City’s travel policy. If Judge chooses not to attend either or both conferences there will be no reimbursement nor in lieu payment provided.
